What's Going on in Science and Math?????

Science Fair is well on its way in Mrs. Pack's room. Our Problem statement is "Where will our Seeds Germinate the fastest?" I am starting to meet with students regarding their projects and they will be bringing home their own science fair books within the next few weeks. Please start thinking about a project with your child and remember this is their project! Their problem statement will be written in their agenda and that is when you will know that you can get started because it has been approved by me.

Math, Math, Math!!! We are into our new investigations book Flips, Turns, and Area. This is our geometry book and we will be learning all about different shapes, their perimeter, and area. We will also discuss congruent, similar, and slides, flips and turns. Please make sure to reinforce their homework at home because this is a review of what we have done in class.
